Salary: Starting at $28/hr. + Commission

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

Summary: The Move-In Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the move-in process for all new residents.

What You will Do:

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the move-in process for new residents.
  • Communicate with residents and their families to complete all required paperwork required prior to move in.
  • Assist in preparing the residency agreement and provide this document to the Executive Director prior to the lease signing.
  • Assist residents and families with moving arrangements and coordination of calendar dates and schedules.
  • Coordinate with all departments, pharmacy, physicians, rehab providers and other providers as appropriate to ensure that new residents' needs are communicated.
  • Complete and distribute a Move in at a Glance document that shares information about the residents' background to all departments and Kensington Senior Living partners.
  • Orient new residents and their families to their new home. Introduces the resident to staff members and other residents. Conducts tours to orient residents to public spaces and reviews key hours of service.
  • Attend training courses and participate in other professional development activities as required.

What You will Bring:

  • The ability to effectively and diplomatically communicate internally with Department Head Directors and team members as well as nurses, social workers and physician office staff outside of the organization.
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and pivot as needed to ensure target dates are met.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to clearly and proficiently communicate with people of all ages and abilities, displaying consideration of their rights and sensitivities, while maintaining an energetic, positive attitude.
  • Must be able to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal skills and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and other in-house systems.
