Applicants are encouraged to include in their cover letter information about how they will further this goal.Posting SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Maintenance Project Coordinator, the Mover responds to departmental moving needs including: assembly and set-up of furniture; picks-up and delivers furniture, appliances, and supplies; safely uses appropriate moving equipment and safe lifting techniques; and operates cube moving van. Performs maintenance and cleaning of storage rooms, some small equipment maintenance, and snow removal. Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs. required. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and ability to perform safe lifting techniques and safe use of furniture moving equipment. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be capable of driving a large cube van.
