Wears appropriate PPE, including fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head, and eye protection. Responsible for cleanliness of the assigned work area and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Proactively promotes the Mc. Wane Way principles. Prepares work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and components by using work instructions. Verifies specifications by testing products and visually inspecting quality. Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment. Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed. Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment once complete.
