You will support innovation by continuous education and training to imaging caregivers. This position will foster an environment of continuous learning and adaptation to modern technologies driving innovation in MRI services. This position will support patient safety standards by providing regular site visits to all MRI locations.A caregiver in this position works Days, 8:00am 5:00pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Curriculum and implement training programs for all MR personnel, especially new hires, including MR tech assistants, techs, nurses, radiologists, respiratory therapists, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, EVS, security, etc.Develop and maintain online educational modules on MR safety for MR personnel.Monthly and quarterly MR safety and educational meetings, including educational, guest lectures and CE credits.Train new MR personnel in their MR specific roles and sign off their competencies.Record keeping of competencies, certifications, and attestations of MR personnel.Implement and enforce MR safety policies and procedures (MR equipment, MR zones, and New and acquired MR site planning and configuration, safety considerations).MR Safety Team coordination and support of current IES (Imaging Education Specialists)/MRSO.Collaborate with other institutions to develop MR safety workflows and protocols within the MR environment for specific personnel and MR exams (IMRIS, pediatric exams, anesthesia exams, etc.).Review and improvement of implant screening and MR scanning protocols.Meet with leadership, EP device clinics, CIED and implant vendors to optimize MR implant workflows and protocols.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.Bachelor's degree.Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.Certified in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT)Certified by ABMRS (American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety) achieving the status of Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO), Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified (MRSC)Five years of clinical MRI experienceFive years of MRI Safety experience as an MRSOPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Master's degree.Ten years of MRI Safety experience as an MRSOOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
