Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219 Schedule: (4)10 hour shifts and rotational, Day, night, weekend Compensation: $33.04- $52.15 hourly range * based on experience, Sign on bonus Up to $30,000 with a 3 year commitment, Relocation Assistance ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 Type: Direct-Hire/Permanent Overview: Our client is an esteemed medical facility is seeking a MRI Lead to manage MRI Technologists, ensuring competencies are completed timely. Oversee daily workflow and staffing to maintain optimal department function. Conduct quality assurance projects and develop exam protocols. Responsibilities Performs all job responsibilities of Level II MRI Advanced Technologist including practices and maintains MR safety in the department, addresses patient safety through proper patient identification, labeling/preparation/and administration of contrast and communicating according to standard operating procedures, completes procedures according to protocol while presenting relevant information to physician, and updates and documents patient information into rad assessment. Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of Advanced Level II MRI Tech and communicates results back to departmental leadership. Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs. Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of MRI Technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews Requirements Completion of formal training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) or ARMRIT or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) program or accredited ARDMS program. 3 years MRI experience required. Performance review consistent with minimum of strong/ Solid performance on last performance review required. ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting Act 33 Act 34 Act 73 FBI Clearance #M3 #LI-MD1
