NEW STAFFING AND PAY MODEL FOR PER DIEM MRI TECHNOLOGIST- $350-$750 per scan!Sollis Health is hiring per diem MRI Technologists to conduct scans as needed on Sollis patients. This is a piece-rate pay model. How it works:A Sollis patient needs a scan.You will receive a text message asking if you are available to come into our facility to scan a patient.If you are available, you arrive to conduct the scan(s). You are paid based on how many scans you conduct. Compensation:Overnight (defined as scans beginning within 11:00pm - 7:00am): $750 per scanDaytime (defined as scans beginning within 7:00am - 11:00pm): $350 per scan Example: You conduct two scans in two hours at Sollis during the daytime, you will receive $700 as payment. In the role of an MRI Technologist at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for the operation of our MRI equipment, performing diagnostics and ensuring that proper information has been obtained. Per Diem- Will be called to work as needed when we have a patient requiring an MRIResponsibilitiesReceive and review the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identify the patient prior to conducting scansPerform Magnetic Resonance Imaging on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and proceduresOperate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of imagesEnsuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identificationMonitoring the patient's well being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate actionUtilizing our EMR Athena Health to enter detailed information about the patients ensuring all information is HIPPA compliant Updating patient information in our CRM SalesforcePerforms clerical duties as requestedPerforms other job-related duties as assignedExperienceGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program requiredCurrent License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in New YorkRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in MRI required Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in MRI - CT and XRay a strong plusStrong knowledge of Siemens technology strong plus Skills To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following:Have outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalismTech-forward and process oriented, with a goal of making patient care more efficientComfortable interfacing with high profile clienteleEnjoy a diverse and fast paced work environmentBe a team playerBe self-motivated, pay keen attention to detail and have solid organization/time management skillsTreat highly confidential information with care and discretionHave the ability to develop rapport in all relationshipsBe flexible, tactful and patient, especially under pressure Possess positivity, enthusiasm, and commitment to the goals at handRange: $50-$60/hr per hour if you work a full shift. If you are picking up a piece rate scan your rate is noted above. This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in New York. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location.
