Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Requirements
- Graduate of a radiographer program.
- One (1) year of clinical MRI and/or Radiology Technology experience in an acute care setting.
- Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is strongly preferred.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology is required.
- Registration with the ARRT in MRI is strongly preferred.
- BLS Certification is required.
- MRI Technologist Initial Competency; Proper Labeling of Medicine and Solutions; Power Injection Utilizing Power Ports; Power Injection Utilizing Central Venous Catheter; IV Access.
