Job DescriptionProfessional Excellence: Adhere to WPH Performance Standards, Policies, and Behaviors to ensure high-quality service.Technical Expertise: Accurately prepare and position patients for specific examinations, accommodating various protocols and special requirements.Collaborative Patient Care: Support physicians during procedures as needed and review completed scans to ensure quality and completeness.Efficient Operations: Conduct quality assurance and equipment calibrations as required. Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including equipment and accessories.Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to assist in emergency procedures or any urgent situations that arise within the department.Patient-Centric Approach: Introduce yourself and provide clear explanations to patients or their families about the examinations being conducted.Continual Learning: Stay updated with continuing education requirements to comply with industry standards and regulations.Leadership: May take on roles as an instructor or preceptor, providing guidance and support to others.Shifts:Evening Full Time Tue-Sat 3P-11PEvening Full Time Wed-Sun 3P-11P including HolidaysVaried Per Diem EVENINGS VARIEDVaried Per Diem MON 11A-7P SAT 8A-4PRequirementsGraduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT), ARMRIT; become ARRT MR certified within 1 year of hire date.Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies.BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.IV certification preferred or by completion of a 6-month orientation.MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
