In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doingOverview:Supporting the delivery of the highest quality of patient care, you will work in our state-of-the-art imaging facilities. Your primary focus will be to operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all age categories. This will entail MRI examinations using GE equipment, while ensuring the highest standards of safety for patients. We will also rely on you to properly store and maintain equipment, instruct patients on exams, and accurately log and document related information.Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited/approved radiologic program with a certification in MR (ARRT) or a graduate of an accredited MRI program with a certification in ARMRIT (ARRT only for regional locations).NY State License and NY State DOH IV injection license required.A minimum of 2 years of MRI scanning experience is preferred.Flexible working hours and excellent organization and communication skills are essential.Non-Discrimination PolicyHospital for Special Surgery is committed to providing high quality care and skilled, compassionate, reliable service to our community in a safe and healing environment.
