SUMMARY: The Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO)Tool Crib Lead performs various tasks to support production/processing operations by organizing all parts, tools and maintaining a perpetual inventory of all tool crib items. The position is also responsible for requisitioning the parts that maintenance and authorized personal may need. The MRO Lead keeps records of the inventory in the tool/parts databases.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Requisition parts daily and in a timely manner to reduce equipment down time.
- Oversee daily inventory/cycle count and place stock requisition with buyer if needed.
- Oversee and/or prepare periodic inventory and maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of parts inventory and incoming orders daily.
- Oversee and/or issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Receive and complete approved invoices and send for payment on the same day they are received.
- Receive and process all Purchase Orders (PO's) real-time.
- Systematically organize and maintain parts room.
- Communicate with authorized team members daily for timely and correctly order parts requested via PO's.
- Communicate part needs with shop leads, supervisor and buyer.
- Maintain returned parts for proper inventory maintenance.
- Conduct annual evaluation of parts usage to determine what needs to be stocked and what needs to be removed from stock per manager and usage reports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in MRO/parts experience
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
