Seeking a D365 ERP Data Engineer to build, test, and maintain an organization's enterprise data infrastructure to include data flows, data pipelines, data sets, and Microsoft Power BI workspaces.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high quality, scalable data assets that support BI tools and analytics.
- Develop new and maintain existing data pipelines and data flows.
- Design and implement data-visualization and reporting solutions leveraging Common Data Model and Power BI.
- Oversee various business unit s data verification processes are complete in order to ensure all the consolidated enterprise data is correct and appropriate.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional IT unit stakeholders (e.g., database, operations, infrastructure, etc.)
- Support continuous BI improvement, implementing best practices, adopting emerging technologies, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Position Qualifications:
- Collaborate with BI Leads, IT Leads, Business Systems Analysts, and 3rd party partners
- Experience in software development and solution architecture roles are a plus.
- Expertise in SQL, MS Synapse, MS Power BI and complimentary leading data analytics tools.
- Expertise in building Power BI Data Pipelines and Data Flows to support data sharing.
- Self-starter that works effectively remotely and independently.
Required Experience:
- Microsoft Dynamics ERP (AX, Navision, F&O) data model experience
- Strong understanding of Financial reporting needs, and Finance experience are required.
- 3+ years direct, hands-on work experience in data modeling and/or engineering is required.
- 5+ years experience in data, analytics, reporting and/or business intelligence roles is required.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business partners at all levels of the organization to understand their data engineering needs and deliver innovative solutions.
- Prior Life Sciences or Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
