Job Summary:

The Human Capital Specialist (Recruiter) is responsible for delivering high-quality talent to customers by matching employees to customer needs based on their skills, knowledge, and work experience. Will develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service, with a mission of quality and performance. Additionally, is responsible for achieving gross profit results consistent with established branch expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consults with Client Services Leader and customer to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
  • Mines data in applicant tracking systems and online job boards as well as social media resources to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
  • Pre-Screens candidates, schedules interviews, conduct interviews per IHC hiring process.
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase and then presents viable candidates with customers' hiring managers.
  • Checks candidate's references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Advises candidates throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Organizes and attends job fairs, coordinates, and plans recruiting events to meet planned weekly and monthly objectives.
  • Follows up with customers' hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Be a participant in engagement efforts to promote retention of talent and foster customer loyalty.
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the MSP/VMS platform
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function as a professional in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years equivalent work experience with a background in staffing preferred.

Physical Demands:

Ability to communicate orally with employees, customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers. Regular use of telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.

Work Environment:

The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with occasional travel to customer sites.
