Job Description: - Provide specialized care for patients suffering from severe brain injuries, strokes, brain tumors, and those in post-operative states following neurosurgical procedures.- Manage the care of highly neurologically complex patients, including new thrombectomy patients and those who are very neurologically sick.- Required to work 3 out of 6 weekends and handle 2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule.- Float as needed to areas of similar skill set such as other ICU or Intermediate Care Units.- Be willing to interface between the brain and other vital organ systems in patient care.- Participate in scheduled orientation sessions for getting acquainted with the unit and care procedures.
