Purpose of Position
Facilitates the development, implementation, and monitoring of Restorative Practices and a Multi-tiered System of Support in collaboration with building administrators, teachers, students and parents to support positive academic behavior outcomes for all students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creates and Administers MTSS assessments, coordinates data analysis gleaned from MTSS assessments and other data sources; ensures the dissemination of outcomes and effects; implements and supports the use of data-based decision making; provides technical assistance and facilitation of School Information System (SIS). Fosters restorative practices or Responsive Classroom and MTSS implementation; assists school-wide team in staff training, student training and kickoffs through the development of training schedules; develops and organizes materials and monitors the implementation of all training activities; fosters positive relationships with school administration and staff. Monitors progress; utilizes tools to monitor progress of school-wide team meetings and functioning; monitors progress during planning, implementation and sustainability of MTSS and restorative practices Liaises with teachers, central office departments and school-based staff to integrate MTSS and restorative practices with other climate and instructional initiatives. Support Building MTSS Lead/Coordinator staff to establish a data-based decision-making system; supports the implementation of a behavior flowchart. Works in collaboration with school administration in school-wide team training and implementation of the MTSS framework and restorative practices., SEL, PBIS, Responsive classroom. Facilitates meetings and supports the District Coordinator and school-wide team through efforts to help ease and smooth the implementation process; ensures the team meets regularly and has a yearly meeting schedule; keeps team on-task, focused on roles/responsibilities, and documents progress. Applies the lens of culturally responsive practices lens to all tasks. Offers tools to assist in record keeping and team evaluation; ensures the equal distribution of roles and responsibilities and ensures the team is using data for decision making. Adheres to and implements the policies established by federal and state law, and Board policy in curriculum and state initiatives. This is a grant funded position will terminate at the conclusion of the grant period and after all final reporting requirements have been met. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with school policy, administrative regulations, state and federal laws.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 5-7 years of experience in a educational setting to include knowledge of instructional practices and/or experience working in a classroom setting experience using computer systems for entering, updating, and retrieving information.
* Masters Degree; a certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred
* Supervisory Certificate
* Bilingual Preferred; not required
Salary/Benefits - In accordance with the Act 93 Contract Agreement - This position is grant-funded through September 30, 2026 - Salary based upon relevant experience and education; starting at $81,542
