Multi-Blanking Line Operator - 1st Shift

The Multi-Blanking Operator sets up, operates, and monitors the multi-blanking line. This role is responsible for safely completing both slitting and cut-to length processes.1st shift - 4:30 am to 3:00pmHow you'll contribute to our company:1. Review work instructions to determine machine adjustments and material requirements2. Operate the multi-blanking machine to slit-to-width and cut-to-length based on customers specifications3. Monitor condition of blanks for defects and ensure compliance with customer requirements and production instructions4. Adjust MBL setup as needed for quality blanks5. Assist maintenance to troubleshoot malfunctions or complete preventative maintenance as necessary6. Setup skids on the parts conveyor to ensure no disruption of production7. Assist packager as needed to stack material8. Complete required paperwork9. Communicate non-compliance or quality problems to supervisor and/or shift lead10. Remove scrap and empty hoppers as needed11.
