Details Client NameCottage Hospital - MS Job TypeTravel OfferingAllied ProfessionRadiology SpecialtyCT Tech Job ID29841669 Job TitleMulti-Modality Technologist -X-Ray & CT Certified (days) Weekly Pay$2898.0 Shift Details ShiftDay - 12x3 - 07AM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/12/2024 End Date03/13/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days - Varied Shifts Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: New Hampshire Imaging License Certifications: - ARRT (R) - ARRT (CT) or (M)- Valid BLS Certification Must-Have: - X-Ray & CT experience- Multi-modality experience preferred- Excellent customer service and patient care- Preferred experience with Athena and Cerner Job Description: - Obtain and process quality images; complete all required documentation timely.- Prepare patients for examinations in a professional manner and provide safe care based on age-specific needs.- Interact effectively with radiologists and diagnostic imaging team, complying with protocols and procedures.- Greet patients, explain procedures, answer questions, guide patients to changing rooms, and assist when necessary.- For ED/med-surg patients, coordinate with nurses to ensure patient safety and readiness for transport.- Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly.- Utilize ALARA principles, perform all requested diagnostic radiology exams, and shield patients when possible.- Produce diagnostic images with accurate positioning; optimize image quality with appropriate technique selection.- Close out exams and send images for interpretation.- Monitor and stock radiology supplies, perform necessary quality control, and document as required.- Perform basic office duties, including answering phones, scheduling exams, obtaining protocols, and processing images.- Be available for call duties and reach the hospital within 30-45 minutes when on call.- Work independently and collaboratively, adaptable to varying workload, and contribute to a positive team environment.- Support state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and champion continual improvement in patient care.Join a mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to improving community health and offering exceptional opportunities for personal and professional fulfillment.
