Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent to manage and coordinate the successful execution of woodframe multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the construction of multifamily buildings, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of multifamily woodframe construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth operations on-site.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues, acting as the point of contact for all construction-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress tracking.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically on woodframe multifamily construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-story, or large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods related to woodframe construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required.
