Job Title: Multimedia Graphic Designer

Bilingual Arabic is highly desirable/required, i.e. ability to use Arabic fonts, etc.
Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Media Designer uses advanced skills gained through training and experience to plan, develop, design, establish and maintain visual communications for the organization using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools to achieve marketing and/or information goals of the organization. The Graphic Designer will support leadership in larger initiatives including branding, collateral, merchandise print production, digital, social, website design presentations. Additionally, the multimedia graphic designer will work with Marketing and Communication Senior Staff, to create, execute, maintain, and update corporate identity standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, create, and manage visual direction and execution of creative assets for comprehensive media, campaigns across the organization along with organization exhibition media (banners, postcards, drop flyers, etc.)
Manage and maintain the main organization website including monitoring errors and troubleshooting
Develop/conceptualize creative images, videos, and wide spectrum of content for social media channels; digital channels; exhibits; presentations; special events across all departments and services of organization and present to internal team and clients
Graphic design for individual event mailers, event and program flyers, brochures, large format signage, billboards, and electronic media
Develop style guides as needed
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and adhere to brand guidelines
Create icons, infographics, logos, and other visual/digital media used to promote overall brand, services, departments/centers, and major campaign initiatives
Manage and compile constituted (electronic campaign) lists, design, send and run analysis on e-blasts and other digital/electronic campaigns
Execute proper alpha and beta testing for all new individual program sites
Update website content on a regular basis
Maintain and troubleshoot individual program websites and micro sites
Stay up to date in design strategies and techniques
Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
HTML and CSS
Adobe Creative Suite
Project Management Software
CMS (Content Management System)
Skill in:
A strong portfolio of creative work across platforms, displaying creativity and technical skills
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications for program area and other applications, including Microsoft Office
Basic use of web programming languages including Javascript and PHP
Webhost c-Panels, and DNS preferred
Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design and its tools, including expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps; Photoshop, in Design, illustrator, Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro desired
Ability to:
Think creatively and to develop original ideas and bring them to execution
Design web pages; digital creative assets; event materials
Take creative direction and to plan outcomes within brand guidelines
Set-up design files for printing; print specs, coordinating with printers for print production
Maintain organization brand integrity throughout all work performed

Gather information, identify linkages and trends, and apply findings to assignments

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor-s degree
Required Disciplines:
Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field

At least 2-3 years related design experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
Demonstrated graphic design experience via portfolio
