The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for creating and managing multimedia content using video, photography, graphics, illustrations, and sound across various platforms. This role requires a highly creative and technically skilled individual to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and engaging content that align with MIBOR's brand and marketing strategies.
Teamwork and leadership are a constant expectation in this role, as this position ensures all materials are consistent with the MIBOR brand and upholds the integrity of the organization, while brainstorming innovative marketing goals and ad campaigns with each member of the marketing and communications team.
Specific Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and produces multimedia content using graphic design software, audio, video, photography, and other digital media—making sure media is accessible for all users, including those with disabilities
Refreshes and enforces brand standards and guidelines across all creative use of MIBOR's brand assets
Meets and consults with internal customers to discuss creative briefs requirements, make technical recommendations and provide project status
Plans, shoots, edits, and produces video content for various platforms, including promotional videos, tutorials, and internal communications
Records, edits, and mixes audio for multimedia projects, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music tracks
Creates dynamic animations and motion graphics to support marketing campaigns, educational videos, and social media content
Ensures multimedia projects are delivered on-time and meet marketing quality standards, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Contributes to the development of multimedia content strategies that align with MIBOR's brand messaging and marketing goals
Maintains and operates multimedia equipment, software, and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally
Oversees creative production and output for other members of the communications department
Competencies:
Deep understanding of multimedia production techniques and tools
Able to collaborate with departmental teams to develop engaging content that resonates with our audience
Reviewing, editing, formatting, and optimizing multimedia content
Staying up to date on industry trends
Manage multiple concurrent projects on time and within budget
Have familiarity with a range of computer design packages
Excellent communication skills both written and public speaking
Proficient skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and After Effects
Keep up to date with new technological and software developments
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines that may require extra hours at times

College Degree or equivalent education in graphic design, videography, social media asset development, marketing, or related communications concentration
