The Multimedia Specialist will bring experience creating visually compelling, impactful and engaging multimedia content and strong technical expertise to our team. This role is responsible for developing a variety of multimedia content, managing photography shoots, video production coordination as well as assisting in the development and execution of multimedia strategies for events, social media, campaigns, etc. This position will join a fast-paced internal marketing and communications team that is strategically focused on communicating with our Members about NISC's cutting-edge solutions, shared values and deep commitment to serving our Members. The Multimedia Specialist role also collaborates on projects internally to keep our employees informed through many communication channels. This position works closely with the team to develop, execute and prioritize multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work. Essential Duties:
- Ensure brand standards and integrity across all internal and external projects.
- Create advanced graphic design and multimedia content which may include social media graphics, websites/apps, campaigns, presentations, marketing collateral, videos, animations, etc.
- Manage design and execution of email campaigns.
- Manage photography shoots.
- Coordinate production of video, podcasts and other interactive media.
- Assist in developing multimedia strategies, engaging presentations and execution at onsite and offsite events.
- Manage and contribute to the library of multimedia assets.
- Proficiency in multimedia design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Word Press, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in e-communications platforms and strategies.
- Photography and lighting skills.
- Experience with video production and podcast creation.
- Advanced knowledge of website design, creation, and coding.
- Advanced knowledge of file specification for file delivery to vendors.
- Advanced understanding of social media and digital communication strategies.
- Experience in multimedia strategies, presentations and execution at offsite events.
- Contribute to creative direction based on team needs.
- Suggest new design concepts and multimedia strategies.
- Strong technical skills in multimedia tools.
- Proficient with multimedia production standards and workflows.
- Collaborate with team to implement multimedia strategies.
- Work independently on specific multimedia projects.
- Independently manage smaller projects or parts of larger projects.
- Meet the travel needs requested of this position.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
- 5+ years of related experience preferred.
- Moderate level knowledge of website design, creation, coding and email applications.
- Moderate level knowledge and understanding of audio/video/recording hardware and techniques.
- Basic level knowledge of WordPress sites and backend website GUIs.
- Stay abreast of innovative changes in graphic design and marketing plans to recommend relevant improvements to NISC.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and theory.
- Working level knowledge of the Utility or Telecom industry.

Education Preferred: Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communication, a related field or equivalent experience.
