Key Responsibilities: - Work hands-on with Murex on accounting configuration and testing to meet business requirements.
- Work on accounting for trade and position configuration
- Accounting configuration: Rules, Filters etc.
- Provide liquidation module support
- Translating these requirements into appropriate solutions
- Update documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processes
- Assist on the testing approach and design of test cases.
- Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Murex Accounting / Finance experience in the capital markets industry
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business or Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting standards for treasury products
- Experience in designing, implementing and challenging accounting schemas for bonds, swaps and other derivatives, as well as other financial instruments.
- Hands-on in effective yield amortizations for various type of bonds including floaters (term and RFR), inflations linked as well as other structured products
- Exposure to complete trade life cycle
- Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise manner
- Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
