Our client, a leading global infrastructure and integrated engineering services consulting firm, is seeking a Museum Development Project Manager to help their new and growing US division. The Project Manager will lead Interior design and coordinate internal resources and third parties; consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. to help the firm execute new projects. Duties:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical, budget and time feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties (consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc).
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements:
- Training in architecture, civil engineer, interior design, etc., or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience as a project manager in architecture and/or architectural fit-out. Previous experience in the cultural and or/entertainment sector, and/or museum content development preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCad, BIM and Revit. Working knowledge of planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc).
- Willingness to travel.
- PMP certification will be valued
