Job Description:

Our client, a leading global infrastructure and integrated engineering services consulting firm, is seeking a Museum Development Project Manager to help their new and growing US division. The Project Manager will lead Interior design and coordinate internal resources and third parties; consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. to help the firm execute new projects. Duties:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical, budget and time feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties (consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Training in architecture, civil engineer, interior design, etc., or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience as a project manager in architecture and/or architectural fit-out. Previous experience in the cultural and or/entertainment sector, and/or museum content development preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCad, BIM and Revit. Working knowledge of planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • PMP certification will be valued
