Museum Security Officer
: Job Details :

Monitor Muscarelle Museum and grounds to ensure staff, students, visitors, and artworks are safe. Perform and follow opening and closing policies and procedures as required. Make inspections of designated priority areas on a routine basis. Follows protocols for incident reporting as needed. Ensures all doors and windows are properly secured and all building conditions are normal including accessible emergency egress. Reports building concerns to Museum administration and Facilities Management. Conducts daily performance and facility logs in the absence of the Director of Security and communicates security concerns to Museum administration. Supervises front-line security operations in the absence of the Director of Security. In tandem with Museum staff, helps to oversee vendors, contractors and equipment set-up and break-down as needed for, but not limited to, deliveries, catering, facility upkeep and special events.
