The Music Therapist uses music in a nurturing and therapeutic environment to develop relationships which will improve communication and expressive skills in support of the individual's wellbeing and ability to interact.A successful Music Therapist will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The Music Therapist will need to utilize critical thinking and organizational skills. Job Qualifications
- Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
- Bachelor's Degree in Music
- Certification from Board for Music Therapists
- Valid Driver's License
- Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
