- Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.

- Manage ministry contacts through phone calls, text messages, emails, and letters.
- Maintain detailed documentation for campus and/or ministry areas.
- Manage and effectively prioritizing personal workflow.
- Manage personal and ministry-area expenses to ensure they meet approved guidelines and annual amounts.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.

Role-Specific Responsibilities (Applies to all Musical Directors)
- Prepare and produce musical component for campus worship services.
- Communicate timely and effectively band members.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of worship services.
- Arrange songs, writing charts, some programming, and musical direction in live worship settings.
- Collaborate with technical team to enhance worship experiences across all services and environments.
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor and Worship Leader to develop creative and meaningful worship services by coordinating creative elements with connectivity and continuity between the sermon and music.
- Partner with worship pastor to create the worship experience.
- Plan the expressions of worship outlined in the Big 30 list. The majority of songs each week (3 of 4, 4 of 5, and so on) must be from the Big 30 list.
- Schedule all band and tech team members for each worship service, including weekly rehearsals and worship service sound checks.
- Assist campus leadership in developing ministry relationships with all members, regular attenders, and guests.
- Research new expressions of praise and worship and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Coordinate related activities for worship services including, clicks and loops, and slide decks for presentation software (ProPresenter).
