  • Apply mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble mechanical parts according to blueprints, technical instructions, and relevant specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.
  • Make decisions regarding fitting and adjustment of parts within established guidelines to achieve required configuration and correct functional criteria.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that all assembled parts meet the required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient assembly and testing.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead crane for material handling.
  • Properly document work completed via a product traveler.
  • Work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns regarding the assembly process.
  • Comply with all company policies and perform work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience required in mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles and the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, datasheets, and complex schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and integrity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Experience with welding, brazing, or other assembly techniques is a plus.
