Esplanade at Azario is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Salon Hair Designer and Nail Technician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Available Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays. This will be an independent contractor position. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors to the salon in a prompt, courteous manner.
- Provides Salon patrons with all hair and nail services in accordance with all licensing standards.
- Keeps hair and nail stations fully equipped at all times with proper implements required to perform services.
- Informs Department Manager of all needed hair and nail supplies for inventory.
- Contributes articles on salon products related to hair and nail services' up-and-coming ideas and technology to salon manager.
- Maintains knowledge of state-of-the art hair design and nail technician services, procedures, equipment and supplies.
- Maintains professional service-oriented demeanor.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Attends staff meetings.
Minimum Qualifications for the Nail Technician:
- Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility; and three to six months related experience and/or training.
- Current State Hair and Nail Technician license and other creditable certificates. CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Current Florida Driver's license.
- Carries own Liability Insurance.
