This position is expected load and unload the machine, clean up area, and ensure that parts meet quality specifications.Essential Duties:* Closely inspecting material and removing material that does not meet specified quality standards* Following production schedule and producing material to the required specifications* Read and understand the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and standard operating procedures related to and posted near the area* Complete safety orientation training, observe all safety policies and procedures, including use of required protective equipment (PPE)Non-Essential Duties:* Maintaining a clean and orderly work area* Actively participating in work-area improvements* Assisting other work areas as necessaryLeadership Competencies:* Drives for results* Establishes stretch goals* Communicates powerfully and prolifically* Collaboration and teamworkEducation/Experience/Certification:* High School Diploma or GED preferred* Previous work experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner* Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions* Good communication and listening skills* Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment* Attention to detailReporting Line and Supervisory Responsibilities* Reports to Department Manager* No supervisory responsibilitiesPhysical Demands:* Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently* Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and hear or talk* Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, turning, and walking* Frequently required to stand for long periods* Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perceptionWorking Environment:* Exposed to moving mechanical parts* Noise level is moderate to high* Hot to cold temperatures and dust
