Looking for help before and after school for someone to assist my 3 kids, one boy (10 yrs old) and two girls (11 yrs old). Someone happy, fun, patient but firm, with good organization, communication and planning skills.Will need help 6:30am-9am Mon - Fri: getting kids ready for school: help them make breakfast, prep lunches and clean up, make it to the bus on time. Help ensuring food, counters, kitchen table and dishes are cleaned up. Let small, hypoallergenic, friendly 16 yr old dog out in the yard and back in before leaving in the am.4pm-7pm let dog out, sweep and swiffer hallway & kitchen floor; light laundry as needed (girls do their own but son needs help running washer and dryer and putting clothes away once or twice per week - I want him putting his clothes away but he needs someone to help him fold and then follow up to make sure they are truly away); help kids navigate snacks, homework and bag clean up; possible local driving to activities; visit to local library to check out books; prep dinner (with kids as comfortable to delegate, have them share in responsibilities & depending on the night). Please note, I do not have an extra car to offer to drive at this time but will gladly pay federal compensation rate to reimburse for gas, car wear & tear for local driving. Usually very close by, no more than 15 min max with traffic. We are active, happy and it is important to me that my kids act respectfully to themselves and others. Honesty is important and I seek someone who can thoughtfully join our family as a caring, valued leader and second parent of sorts.
