Looking for caregiving support for our happy, curious baby who will be 6-12 months during the time we are looking for care beginning February 2025. We live in Harlem near the C/D/2/3. We would like someone who is CPR certified and who has taken or is willing to take professional development childcareclasses (paid time).Days and hours are M-F 6-8 hours a day including one 60 minute or two 30 min breaks, plus we encourage short breaks when babies are asleep. Ideally this will be a Nanny share with a second child around the same age. We are currently seeking out the other family. Responsibilities are mainly keeping baby relatively safe, keeping baby stuff (clothes, diapers, toys, bottles etc) organized, keeping areas where babies are clean (cleaning up spills and spit up as much as time allows) and some mental stimulation and play. Stimulation includes walks in the neighborhood/to nearby parks. However we are big on baby entertaining themselves and expriencing some boredom!We respect paid breaks and someone will be wfh 3-4 days a week so that most lunchtimes can be childfree and in a private room with a bed if you wish. Also offering paid sick leave and a number of paid vacation days. No pets, and no pick ups or drop offs necessary. Would be great to have an evening care (6-11pm) option 1-2 times a month.Looking for someone who's emotionally regulated, honest, and who will genuinely care for our baby! No need to be performatively cheerful as long as you are kind!
