My wife Heather and I are freelance musicians. We work odd hours, mostly rehearsing in the daytime and doing performances at night. We stay busy most of the time, but our very busy seasons are summer, High Holy Days, Christmas, and Easter. Our son, Malcolm, is an active and very good-natured child who loves science experiments, outdoors, legos, and tv shows. He is outgoing and generally engages new babysitters immediately. In summertime, we live at Bard College for the Summerscape music festival, and the rest of the year we live in the Fleetwood neighborhood of Westchester County and primarily work in Manhattan.
