Job Title: Full time Nanny Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan (School Year) & The Hamptons (Summer) Rate: $35 - $40/ hour DOE and health insurance stipend Schedule:
- School Year (Upper East Side, Manhattan):
- Tuesday - Thursday: 1pm - 8pm
- Friday - Saturday: 10am - 8pm
- Summer (The Hamptons):
- Live-in position during long weekends
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Nanny to join our family, providing care and support to our 7.5 and 4 year old children both during the school year in Manhattan and over the summers in the Hamptons. The ideal candidate will be playful, fun, organized, efficient and proactive. Must be a team player, capable of working collaboratively with our full-time housekeeper, chef, and stay-at-home mom while respecting our family's boundaries. Family can be flexible with the hours during the school year. We also need this person to accompany us on 2 international vacations per year. Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up children from school
- Assist with homework and school projects
- Manage children's laundry and keep their areas organized
- Engage children in creative and imaginative play
- Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times
- Children's light meal prep
- Travel with the family internationally twice a year (to the Caribbean and France)
- Provide live-in care during summer weekends in the Hamptons
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Nanny
- Genuine love for children and passion for being a Nanny
- Energetic, imaginative, and creative in engaging children
- Ability to swim
- Comfortable working in a household with a stay-at-home mom and a dad who works from home
- Flexibility with hours and ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Respectful of adults' boundaries and privacy
- Current valid passport
