About Our Opportunity Machine Operator position on 2nd shift in the Napkins Department.PRIMARY DUTYEffectively operates and monitors machines in production department. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.• Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.• Maintains product quality.• Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.• A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Other duties may be assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Ability to work as a team leader. • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment. • Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals. • Ability to understand written and oral instructions. • Ability to perform basic mathEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE• Continued education preferred.• 1 year prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
