Job Description:
Position OverviewApollo is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our National Accounts team within the Global Wealth Management Solutions ( GWMS ) business. GWMS is a vertically integrated sales channel within Apollo's broader Client & Product Solutions (CPS) ecosystem, designed to provide individuals and their advisors with a growing range of wealth management solutions beyond the public markets.
  • Support the execution of National Account business plans for focus firms with the goal of growing partnerships and driving revenues
  • Support National Accounts leads with intermediary relationships including client engagements, follow ups and client service-related initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal business partners, including External and Internal Sales, Investment Teams, Marketing, Legal and others to effectively deliver resources to clients, including comparative analytics, capital markets insights and investment proposals
  • Write meeting memos and assist as needed with preparation for client meetings/pitches
  • Possess investment acumen and develop knowledge of Apollo's positioning, holdings, competitive edge and overall investment results across the capital structure
  • Act as a consistent team player who effectively works across Apollo to advance the firm's goals
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Prior experience working with institutional investors, financial advisors or private wealth clients preferred
  • Prior knowledge/work experience in alternative investments preferred
  • Understanding of Independent Broker Dealers (IBDs) and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) preferred
  • Strong organization skills and work ethic
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications/functions required including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
  • Must work effectively with other groups in the organization and collaborate as necessary
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential, sensitive information
  • Working knowledge of CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63 licensed (if not licensed, will be required upon joining)
  • Demonstrates integrity, high-energy and motivation to succeed
Pay Range$110K-$125KThe base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
