Meco is searching for an experienced National Accounts Manager to join our team and to embrace our passion for our retail products. This position is responsible for managing and growing retail and commercial accounts in the grill and furniture categories. Position is On-Site in Greenville, TN.
Essential Job Functions include:
- Manage the Sales process from a project management and an account management perspective, including profit margin.
- Manage and develop assigned customers while supporting Meco business objectives.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Manage sales inquiries, price quotations, pricing negotiations, contract reviews/negotiations and other sales activities related to grill and furniture accounts.
- Manage online accounts and develop understanding of their systems to allow us to grow in current and future categories.
- Achieve assigned objectives within area of responsibility and execute the approved sales strategy for assigned area of responsibility.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and align with inside sales.
- Prepare quarterly reports and newsletters for independent sales reps that work for Meco.
- Coordinate with marketing and new product development to ensure brand consistency and strengthen brand awareness.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify strengths, opportunities, and improvements of a particular promotion.
- Interact with other departments within Meco as necessary to support excellent customer experience.
- Assist and coordinate Meco events, activities, and initiatives.
- Develop and assist sales presentations and proposals and provide input about marketing programs and materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years' experience in sales related field.
- Amazon experience is a plus.
- Experience selling to big box retailers.
- Possess a good knowledge of economic and how current market trends influence sales.
- Persuasive written and verbal communicator with the ability to positively help, influence and motive.
- Good leadership, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Advanced negotiation skills.
- Proactive and able to anticipate potential problems before they can hinder a company's success.
- Able to develop new sales strategies based upon prior experience.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Well versed in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to analyze data from various sources and form a summary to present to directors.
