With multiple locations nationwide, we seek a strategic safety professional to join us in achieving the highest safety standards for our team and projects.Position Overview:The National Director of Safety will lead the company's safety program, ensuring consistent implementation of safety policies, training, and compliance across multiple locations. This role can be based in one of our regional offices in Maryland, Charlotte, NC, Sarasota, FL, or Boston, MA, and involves some travel. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of experience in safety leadership, ideally within large-scale construction, but could also have come from an operational role with a general contractor, combining operational insight with a strong safety background.Key Responsibilities:Safety Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive national safety program that ensures adherence to industry-leading standards across all sites.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of regional and site-based safety professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Compliance and Certification: Ensure company-wide compliance with OSHA and industry standards. Maintain and update all safety protocols, training programs, and certifications.Training and Development: Conduct and oversee OSHA 30 and First Aid training. Lead workshops and provide resources to ensure the safety team and field staff are well-versed in the latest safety practices.Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform regular audits, site visits, and inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance.
