AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a highly experienced Intelligence Lead with a background in Customs and Border Protection and a demonstrated record of managing intelligence teams to support the National Targeting Center in Washington, DC!
As the NTC Intelligence Lead, you will:
* Collaborate with Federal, State, Local, and International Partners to protect national security, public safety, and lawful trade and travel.

Responsibilities of the NTC Intelligence Lead include, but are not limited to:
* Delivering actionable, real-time unclassified and classified targeting and vetting support to DHS, CBP, NTC-P and NTC-C, OFO targeting analysts, watch commanders, and NTC leadership.
* Conducting strategic, tactical, and operational data analysis to support NTC Passenger and Cargo (NTC-P and NTC-C) managers regarding passengers and cargo of interest.
* Investigating passengers, cargo, subjects of interest, and commercial entities and presenting analytical findings to CBP decision-makers.
* Enhancing and supporting interdiction efforts conducted on a 24/7, 365-day operational schedule.
* Developing and maintaining a resource schedule for NTC that aligns with Government portfolio requirements.
* Overseeing management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for NTC task execution.
* Monitoring intelligence personnel activities to ensure compliance with NTC requirements.
* Contributing to the recruitment and provision of qualified and experienced intelligence personnel.
Job Requirements
* Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
* Bachelors degree
* At least 15 years of Intelligence experience
* Strong managerial experience including organizing, planning, and directing contractor staff
* Required to provide coverage Monday - Friday throughout the core hours (0900 to 1500 ET)
* Prior CBP experience is a PLUS!
* Required to undergo CBP Background Investigation
NOTE: Primary places of performance are at the Ronald Reagan Building, National Place, and at 90th and K Street in Washington DC and at the Ashburn Facility in Ashburn, VA.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $165,000- $170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
