Position Description
As a volunteer working with natural resources, you are donating your time to help with programs and opportunities to help people experience the Anoka County Park system. These opportunities interact with a wide variety of age groups while offering a diverse mix of opportunities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
These program examples are not all-inclusive and are intended to be illustrative of the primary responsibilities of an Anoka County Natural Resources - Volunteer.
* Landscape Bed Planting/Maintenance
* Tree Disease Monitor/Identification
* Aquatic Invasive Species Monitor
* Clean Up Day Events
* Prairie Seed Collection
* Tree Plantings
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed
* Must be at least 16 years of age.
* Successfully pass a criminal and driver's license background check.
Selection Process

Anoka County has determined that successfully passing a pre-employment criminal/driving background check, drug screen, and DOT physical, and/or other qualifications checks may be necessary for certain positions.
