Location: Messino Cancer Centers (551Brevard Rd. Asheville, NC. 28806)
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday (noweekends, no holidays), 8a-5p
Interviews: 1 interview onsite, after 3pm. Possibleshadow (case by case basis)
Comp: ***-*** is the targeted hourlyrate. Rates are determined individually based on years of experience andinternal equity.
Ideal: OCN Certified, prior oncologyexperience is ideal. Experiencing accessing ports and picc lines. Infusion.
Preference: If not oncology, ED and Med/Surg are OK. No Psych, ICU, L&D.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment,with experience in IV therapy.
Experience with hematology/oncology patients in aclinic or hospital is required.
Ability to assess patient needs and condition isessential. Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability toreact calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR & BLS certifications are required.
Fluency in the English language with excellent oraland written communication skills is required.
Valid Drivers license, in state of residency, fortravel to clinics.
