Job Description:

The Killeen Group is seeking several NDI Technician – Level II's on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer in Hamilton, WA.

Title: NDI Technician – Level II

Location(s): Onsite – Hamilton, WA

Type: Hourly, Full-time

Salary: $25-45/hr DOE + Bonus + Additional pay opportunities

Travel: On-site with opportunities for off-site

Shifts Available:

M-Th: 3:30pm-2:00am (Swing)

Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm (Weekend)

Duties:

  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection using A-scan, B-scan and C-scan Methods.
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Interface daily with management about work priorities and progress of projects.
  • May instruct and supervise others.
  • Work closely with management to identify and remove obstacles.
  • Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). The Company will assist in gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
  • NDT Level II Certification per NAS 410 in Ultrasonics
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
  • Relevant experience performing NDT methods within the aerospace industry
  • Physical: Must be able to sit, walk and stand for long periods, occasionally wearing personal protective equipment and lifting a minimum of 50-lbs
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Preferred:

  • AS in NDT or similar field
  • RT Certification
