We are currently hiring a NEPA Operations Manager for our client in the Athens, PA area.
Summary:
Manages daily operations for multiple crews in the oilfield while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all team members while maintaining a high level of service quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manages daily operations.
• Leads a culture of safety following our Safety First” principles and policies. Maintain and exemplify high safety and service standards by making safety a part of the day-to-day operations. Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes.
• Ensures compliance with all quality and operational standards and maintains a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and whenever possible uses new technology to drive operational effectiveness.
• Establishes accountability whereby the team knows the operational expectations and how they are performing against these objectives.
• Continue to expand the need for provided services through education, awareness and market development to provide sustained growth throughout relevant industries.
• Contributes to managing P&L to meet revenue and drive profitability goals.
• Contributes to budgeting activities, reviews costs and expenses, and strives for continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and safety of unit operations.
• Contributes to create an organizational structure to meet operational demands.
• Properly manages all employee personnel partnering with HR on employee relations/investigations/hires/terminations and promotions.
• Mentor, supervise and retain high quality personnel through coaching, training, and other employee development tools. Develop personnel in the area who are professional, safe, knowledgeable and self-sufficient. Ensure the employees have the necessary training, certifications and direct supervision, so that they display the appropriate professional image.
• Maintains open communication and works with all departments.
• Assists in meeting program goals and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
• Job site visits for bidding, inspections and pre job preparation (Bid and estimating on projects).
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the businesses.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years oil and gas welding and operations management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to interact with employees, managers and vendors in a timely and professional manner.
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and Google Suite Skills.
• Turnaround or oilfield construction experience recommend
• Self-starter with demonstrated experience handling multiple duties and deadlines
NEPA Operations Manager
• Will be required to complete pre-employment screening, which includes criminal background check, credit check, MVR history and drug screen.
• Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
