An established Academic Hospital is currently seeking a Nephrologist to join their growing team at their Bronx site!

About the Opportunity:

• Setting: Hospital, mix of OP and IP clinical responsibilities,
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Call: shared

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Manage patients on dialysis.
• Conduct office visits for follow-up care, medication management, and patient education.
• Perform hospital rounding and admissions for nephrology patients.

• Round at dialysis centers to monitor treatment progress and address patient concerns.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of nephrology fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in nephrology.
• NY State medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner.
