Job Description:

We are seeking a talented, and motivated Network Abuse Analyst to join our dynamic legal operations team. This role supports a global legal team led by the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel and collaborates with team members and internal clients across multiple regions, including the Americas, EMEA, and APJ.

The contract position focuses on administering the network abuse function, which involves investigating and working with customers to resolve complaints and potential violations of the organization's Acceptable Use Policy. The role aims to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry standards while safeguarding customers and the network from abuse-related impacts.

Job Details

Longer term Contract role 9-10 months

Hybrid Full time work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 remote

Hourly pay rate starting at $45.00/hr

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform or support various law-related administrative activities that do not require a law degree.
  • Receive, assess, and administer network abuse complaints, including reviewing illegal and/or offensive materials when necessary.
  • Collaborate with security and fraud teams to investigate potential fraud.
  • Guide customers through the resolution of network abuse issues or take action against prohibited use.
  • Act as a partner to internal clients, service providers, and industry organizations to enable rapid issue resolution.
  • Work with legal teams to prepare and maintain documentation, address legal questions, develop guidance and training, and improve legal processes.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • 6 years of experience in a technology company, customer support industry, or legal team is advantageous.
  • Strong desire and ability to learn technical IT and legal information with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with, or passion for, technology or anti-abuse issues is beneficial.
  • Proactive communicator with excellent listening skills and a professional approach to difficult conversations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate as a team player and deliver exceptional results.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, multitasking, and working effectively against deadlines, including in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
