The Network Administrator II will work closely with the Network Supervisor to maintain, administer, and enhance our network environment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical network devices.Your Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration & Maintenance:
    • Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues proactively.
    • Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
    • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
    • Perform network upgrades, installations, and maintenance activities as required.
    • Ensure network stability, availability, and performance.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Work with the Security team to enhance network security posture.
    • Adhere to all security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Support:
    • Participate in network-related projects, including planning, implementation, and testing.
    • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new network technologies.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of network activities, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and change requests.
    • Generate reports on network performance and security metrics.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Collaborate effectively with other IT teams, including operations, security, and systems administration.
    • Provide technical support to end-users as needed.
Who we are looking for:
  • 2 -4 year college degree in Information technology
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in network administration.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
  • Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues, including DNS, ISP, and other network-related technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with server administration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and GCP environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
  • Networking certification preferred:Network+ / Cisco CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional / CWT Certified Wireless Technician/ Security+
