Responsibilities:

The Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Community Bank Systems network environment that provides highly available bank operations. This position will provide change management and configuration assistance, testing, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of the network environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the network team to support/update the existing network infrastructure.
  • Configure network hardware such as wireless access points, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
  • Handling troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal network performance and uptime for the business.
  • Provide technical assistance in designing network models including the deployment and administration of various network components.
  • Working with various Cisco Meraki products and solutions (MR Wireless Access Points, MS Switches and MX Firewalls)
  • Manage and resolve issues with Cisco Catalyst Switches via CLI
  • Manage and resolve issues with Microsoft Azure Virtual Network components and cloud networking
  • Understanding network security components and assisting in the implementation of appropriate measures to protect data/limit and monitor network access
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for users/employees
  • Working knowledge/understanding of different types of network LANs, WANs, VPNs and SANs
  • Familiarity with servers; Physical and Virtual as well as different flavors of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
  • Excellent understanding of network closets, patch panels and various cabling option(s); Cat6, Fiber, Twinax
  • Experience working with asset tracking/asset lifecycle management
  • Working within our IT Ticketing System to help/assist end users submitting a support request/issue; Being able to communicate problems and solutions with other people is a valuable skill to have
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Location: This position is a hybrid position. We allow flexibility to work from home but require that you to also be present in the office weekly.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of enterprise network administration (LAN/WAN)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years troubleshooting IT/Network Connectivity issues thru inception to resolution
  • Excellent communication, documentation and customer service skills when working within the IT team as well as working with various partners, vendors and Internet Service Providers.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years working on Cisco Network Switches
  • Minimum of 1-3 years working on Cisco Meraki Technologies (MR, MS and MX appliances)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with Cloud Service Providers (MS Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Experience with all/any of the following technologies would be preferred: NX-OS, 802.1x, VXLAN, Cisco ACI or Cisco ISE

Skills: Established network administrator in conjunction with strong interpersonal relations and communication skills. Analytical and problem solving which can involve multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in reading, writing and creating enterprise network documentation.

Education/Training: A degree in Computer Science or related discipline is desired but not required. Proven field experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. This position is highly specialized to the network ecosystem, so enterprise network administration experience is a plus. Certifications are not required but (CompTIA Network+ and or a Cisco Certified Network

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Min: USD $58,500.00/Yr. Max: USD $88,000.00/Yr. Other Job Information:
