Right here, right now, this is your chance to make history and put a ding in the universe. Lucayan Technology Solutions is hiring a Network Administrator to Support for the 6th Medical Group (6 MDG). Job Summary: The role involves the installation, configuration, management, and support of network infrastructure equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points. This position is critical for maintaining the network's operational integrity, ensuring security, and supporting the facility's IT needs. Primary Duties:

  • Install, configure, and manage network infrastructure equipment, ensuring 99% network uptime.
  • Maintain and update routing tables, operating systems, security patches, and perform network expansion as needed.
  • Compile and maintain records on network maintenance, providing technical guidance for information systems operations.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues and respond to hardware and software problems.
  • Manage physical and virtual servers, including log analysis, error detection, backups, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols, performing system evaluations and certifications as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CompTIA Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in network infrastructure management and support, with a strong understanding of military or healthcare IT environments preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written in English, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel between facilities as part of official duties.
