POSITION TITLE: Network AnalystFLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptSUMMARY:The Network Analyst supports planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, corporate servers, associated software, and communication links. This role troubleshoots network performance issues, analyzes network traffic, and provides capacity planning solutions; diagnoses, resolves, and documents hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end user training and support where required in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the bank.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:•Installs, configures, and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments•Installs, assembles, and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware•Pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration•Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network, and peripheral equipment problems and makes repairs and corrections where required•Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data•Respond to Branch problems related to the network circuits•Initiate contact with the managed service partner when necessary to correct line problems involving the network circuitsJOB REQUIREMENTS:•High school diploma or equivalent requiredKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:•Excellent customer service skills•Strong verbal and written communication skills •Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment•Knowledge of Microsoft office productsPHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:•Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer•Must be able to move or lift up to 30 pounds•This role has physical requirements to handle the installation of computer equipment, monitors, printers and copiers and telephone equipment.•Installation may involve squatting, stooping, kneeling or crawling behind or under furniture to pull network cables, wiring and other cords.
