Job Summary: As the network administrator, you are responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video and wireless network services, and information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by planning, designing, developing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the hardware, software, and provisioned circuits. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure the appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
- Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain user security.
- Apply security patches and operating system updates to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
- Oversight of new and existing infrastructure utilizing third-party vendors as appropriate.
- Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with external contractors to create a positive, productive work environment
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Syst or related field and/or equivalent related experience
- 2 years of related technical experience
- Microsoft Exchange
- Windows Server 2008+
- Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
