RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California. ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world's premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission. Summary: Applies systems engineering and industry best practices in order to perform the following functions: provides end user systems support to include installation, troubleshooting, and patching of operating systems and applications, manage systems security using existing scripts, tools, and procedures to maintain compliance with DoD and local policy. Provides mentoring and training to other lower level systems administrators. Responsibilities: Design and development of complex hardware and software network architectures to support real-time RDT&E test and fleet training events conducted by ATR in support of customer requirements.
- Design/Deploy/Monitor/Troubleshoot unclassified and classified Range networks
- Follow and enforce DoD cybersecurity policy
- The ability to configure network equipment via command line interface (CLI)and graphical user interface (GUI)
- Work with a team of network administrators to ensure readiness and real-time support
- Lead the network team by assigning tasks by priority, training junior team members, and coordinating support coverage
Special Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance with Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense (DoD) issued Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance throughout employment
- A high skill level in network design and administration, specifically with Cisco equipment (i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, IDPS)
Clearance Requirements:
- Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
- Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance.
Specific experience and/or expertise with Cisco ISE, StealthWatch, DNAC, ASA, Firepower, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)/APIC, multicast routing, and Software Defined Access (SDA) are major pluses. Education:
- MS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 10 years of work experience performing the stated or similar function.
- In lieu of a MS Degree, a BS Degree plus 4 years' additional work experience performing the stated or similar function.
